By delving into the reason why the latest transformations proposed in the land use and development plans of the city of Medellin, specifically, those that have epicenter in the “northern zone,” can be found in the case, of the dwelling communities between Chagualo and Moravia, a population that will have to leave their territorial fabric in favor of neoliberal developmentalism. The axes of problematization revolve around the way in which the privatization of resources and public spaces is reaffirmed, through the consolidation of utilitarianism and abuse of the state tool by alliances between private individuals, proclaimed “public-private,” which has not necessarily meant public interest or benefit. Secondly, it is intended to characterize the obstacles, which are generated to the “ordinary” community so that it does not participate in the decision-making convergences, and finally, a recognition of the dissonances, discontents, and social resistances, which in this framework of injustice, make sense.
