As a note from the editors, we decided for the special issue Community, Popular, Ethnic, Peasant and Social Constructions. Latin America, we decided to make a conversation to think what we understand by community. From an affectionate approach between the editors, some questions emerge about how to think the community from the inherent human need to be gregarious, and from that, we expand the idea of what a community would be, which operates from its health.
