The idea that the history of humanity is a history of progress is not always right however, what we can really observe is a growing technological development, which does not necessarily correspond to better living conditions, let alone a moral growth of humanity. There is contradiction from the historical origin of the modern project based on progress, but which, with the triumph of the capitalist bourgeoisie, this one, was reduced to the simple technological development as a support, not of the realization of human potential, but of the capital accumulation. It ends up becoming, that progress, against humanity, against nature and all forms of life it harbors. Consequently, every emancipatory project thus goes through the confrontation of this ideal of progress and rethinks the role of such technological development, depending on life.
