This article analyzes the rise of contemporary fascism as a functional expression of capitalism in crisis, linked to the civilizational collapse, and the consolidation of corporate-financial feudalism. Through a critical and interdisciplinary approach, it is argued that this phenomenon is not a historic deviation, but rather a strategy by the elites to keep their hegemony amid the structural exhaustion of neoliberal order. It examines how authoritarian, media, and economic mechanisms are articulated in order to impose a new order, while it also highlights the emerging resistances from eco-socialism, degrowth, and popular movements, which point to the urgent need for a radical reorganization of society.
