From a qualitative research exercise carried out in the municipality of San Carlos, Antioquia, regarding the meanings that the communities have built around the peace process between the Government and the FARC, it is found that the participants consider that peace it has been captured by the State, the media and some economic sectors for the extractive (mining-energy) development, configuring a peace that is built from above, that is manipulated, that does not obey the interests of the peasants and victims, who fail to transform the structural conditions that are at the base of the emergence of the armed conflict and that does not allow the active and real participation of citizens. At the psychosocial level, this capture has led to the construction of a collective emotional orientation of distrust and indignation in the face of the peace process, which becomes instruments of control in the political sphere, since it deactivates collective action, promotes despair , fatalism and the apathy of citizenship.goods.
